Summer Strategies For Managing ADHD Kids

Dear Loved Ones,

Managing ADHD brains (ours and theirs) is no joke. There will be battles and power struggles this summer, no doubt, but they don't have to fill these summer days.

Let's see what we can do to cut down on some of those challenges.

Let us start with the Summer Set Up strategy, for getting everyone's expectations aligned. Then, we will use the Super Simple Schedule and/or the Summer Days Pages to mange those long stretches of free time. It will provide some freedom and direction. They will be surprised by how much they didn't totally hate it.

Meanwhile, we will pull in a bit on the screen time, with the 80/20 Screen Time Strategy.

If we implement only one strategy a week, we will be at week five at this point. We will be rounding the corner back towards a new school year. It will be good timing for looking into Brain Optimizing with nutrients and supplements.

We will wrap up this series with my favorite daily used strategy. the Alexa Said It strategy will cut down on the need for yelling and nagging.

I am honored to share these strategies with you. I am confident they can make life a bit easier this summer. I am thankful to you, for coming along this journey to be bravely ADHD with me.

Enjoy!
